Wow!!!! I’ve been wondering, “What was it that made her so resolute? So capable of facing the unknown?” And this interview clearly shows it:
She has actually experienced dying twice before…….the horrible inability to breathe, the suffocation that makes death so hideous.
When Bill Moyers interviewed the vet who had set aside his pills to deliver himself from the hideous fate of Lou Gehrig’s sufferers…..having his lungs paralyze and suffocating…..that’s why he wanted to die this way, peacefully with a pill.
Yet, he waited too late and his wife refused to do it. So he DID dies, suffocatingly. How horrible.
I do not intend to consciously allow this kind of death to creep up on me. Dying should be painless and joyful, if possible.
